Palm Trees

Does anyone know how to make N Scale palm trees?

Ahhh, a trip to the craft store!

WKW has the Woodland Scenic ones on sale in either the June (which can still be ordered from) or July sales flyer.
These could be used for a guide/master.

Then, use a drawing program to draw your leafs, and print out on an appropriate green colored paper.

For the trunks, I'd try a tan pipe cleaner (if they can be found in that color) or white, and dip in the right color paint and the bristles smoothed down (with ones fingers).
Their pretty shaggy trees.

For coconuts (if desired) one could probably find really little brown or green beads.
