Picked up some cheap O 2-rail a few weeks ago and among it was a repainted AHM/Rivarossi (says Pola on the bottom so maybe not Rivarossi?) 4-wheel industrial switcher. It's some kind of European prototype locomotive, a rather ugly little thing.
I'd bought a shell for a Marx "Marx-tronic" diesel a while back on a whim because it looks like when they made it they took the 1950s Kemtron/Lindsay HO/HOn3 "Stubby" and blew it up to O-scale. The Stubby is a representation of a 25-ton Vulcan. I had some idea of making an On30 loco out of it. They have virtually no collector value to them, a nice one only brings about $20, so no worries there.
On a whim I took apart the AHM and the chassis will fit right into it, about the only iffy part is the wheelbase is a tad long compared to the Stubby. But it would make a relatively decent looking O siderod switcher with some detailing.
FWIW, an Athearn HO SW7 will also fit under one of these pretty easily, it just seems rather wide for On30 once done.

Lvrr325, 1970s AHM O came from both Rivorossi, and Pola Maxi. Pola sold the Maxi line to Lionel around 1980 for $10,000. the Switcher You have is the 0-4-0 Side Rod critter ? they also had an 0-4-0 Plymouth MDT,not sure who made that ? Rivo did make the F-M C-Liner A unit, but no B units, the IHB 0-8-0,Casey Jones 4-6-0,maybe a 4-4-0 American ? Atlas O was odd back then also,EMD F9 A Unit, but no B unit. Plymouth 0-6-0 WDT ?,these were made by Roco. what do the Atlas Plymouths go for now ? Spikre
