Gents,
Although I am building up full length rakes of coaching stock at present I can only really run seven car sets--0 scale in a garage--I do have the space for say a couple of box wagons to go at the head end of the trains but not sure how express speeds are determined for certain box cars ? ie how they are denoted on the sides of the wagons.
Could anyone give me some suggestions of stock to use please.
I have decided to make the seven up by 1 baggage and or postal 2 and 3 two chair coaches 4 diner 5 and 6 two sleepers 7 an observation car. If invited to a larger layout I would take the full set for the Daylight or El Capitan or Santa Fe' Chief in these full length trains I will power them by F units as A+B+B+B+A engines 2 and 4 being unpowered. My era 1930s to mid 50s.
