Well it has been a couple of years since joining the old Atlas forum now defunct. In that forum I asked if anyone had a particular style of switch machines. I am looking for more of that style. What it looks like it has a small square button located in the center of the round hump in the top case, instead of a small pin that slides back and forth,. In doing extensive research on the internet, I could only find one document in an attempt to show the history of all the different versions made of the Atlas Remote Switch Machines. What the person said was the Version 6 was made in Austria, no model numbers listed, BUT I did find an old hobby shop locally that had some in the original packaging, They have #2590 and #2591. These are the #4 size machines. What I cannot find is did they make a #6 size machine? This is what is needed, both left and right. The article did state the Version 5 from Austria did have #6 machines. #2580(4), #2581(4), #2582(6), or #2583(6) but has a metal top cover, the version 6 has a plastic top cover. Here is the link to the article: www.ebay.com/gds/Ten-Styles-of-Atlas-N-Scale-Switches-Turnouts-Detail-/10000000175276916/g.htmlCan anyone help on finding the #6 types in version 6 switch machines if they do exist? Reason I need only this type is it will go on a fully automated DC layout and the other types of switch machines do not have the internal switch contacts inside that will remove power to the coils once the switch is thrown. I have burnt up too many of the other types. Thanks Dennis
