How do I configure a LokSound Select Decoder to have the front headlight stay on regardless of direction of travel?
Thanks, CSXT

Good to know! Is there a way to map the rear headlight to a different function? On my Tsunamis, I always set up the headlights independently, with F0 for the front and F1 for the rear, moving the bell to F3.

It's not the same for all Loksound decoders?

They "should" be the same. Some older files may have had some odd configurations. Assuming it is a recent file, the following will configure your Loksound decoder to have front light on F0, rear light on F1 and bell on F3 ....
CV31 = 16, CV32 = 2 ---------------------- CV282 = 1 CV298 = 2 CV302 = 0 CV334 = 8
Be sure to set CVs 31 and 32 first as they are register CVs needed to access the proper upper register CVs.
Mark.

Do you have to set the CV31 and CV32 each time you program one of the 3 digit cvs or just prior to the first one? I've just hardwired a Loksound Direct into a 'stealth' BLI RSD-15. Lots of fine tuning to do but it just 'shines' right out of the box.

CVs 31 and 32 stay at whatever you set them to, until you need to change them for a different upper register CV.

Just wondering if DecoderPro supports the LokSound Select direct? I have an older version of DP (I really need to update!) and LokSound Select Direct is not listed.
Thanks. Bob

Bob The Select Direct is no different than any other Select decoder. It's basically a Select Micro attached to a motherboard. Mark.

Bob,
Just in case you haven't read this elsewhere, Decoder Pro 3.10 is the minimum release with good support for Loksound Select and Select Direct decoders. Dave Heap now recommends 3.11.4 as it incorporates several fixes and improvements.
