Guysi have Intermouintain f unit with number lights and head light. The headlight goes on and off as per usual.I see a green wire on the 8 pin plug and green wire on the Intermountain LED board harness. How do i programme number boards to go on and off as they stay on all the time as of now. i think they should be controlable. Thanks Steve

Steve.....If you are truly using a TCS TX2 it is only a 2 function decoder. My *guess* is the #boards are wired where you would normally have the rear light. Just change the function for the "yellow" function wire. Are you using DecoderPro? Bob

Bob Yes its T2 old.If not cool i could put another decoder in it i have plenty more.I just blew the dust off of this unit.It was sitting on the shelf and i thought there must be away to on off number boards. I have on hand DP2x,MC2,M1 and T1.If you think i should change out i can ?.Thanks Steve

Not having much luck guys.Maybe some one could help me on this. This is the F unit with LEDS. F0 works headlight but i want number boards off and on on a function. maybe i am not doing the fuction remaping correct on decoder pro. I put in a new TCs T1.Surely i should be able todo two light functions with it ?.Thanks Steve. There is a plug with yellow, red, blue and green wire going to LED board for front light and number board LEDS.

Steve.....if the decoder is not in DecoderPro you should be able to program the necessary CVs with your DCC co0ntroller. Go to the TCS website and Open the "Comprehensive Manual", scroll to the lighting section. There you will see the CVs for lighting. Even an old T2 should have 2 functions. I doubt the CVs for lights has changed over the years.
Of course all this assumes the headlight and number boards are not wired together. You may need to separate some wires.
