here is a Athearn BB GP38-2 that has all the usual cannon kits installed I had to make walkway lights and the dual fuel gages i will post some pics of them to soon.she will get a tuxedo paint job soon and few other goodies Attachments:

Really nice work! I like the high, short hood locos, as the are so reminiscent of the early GP7/9's.

Looks great! Have you tried Cannon Fans yet? They are awesome parts. Yep, this definitely needs Cannon fans! I did a shell up like this for a clinic a few years back. I just wanted to demonstrate the use of Cannon parts and the GP38-2 as a Southern late-phase high nose can make use of a bunch of them. I did it up pretty much like yours, but I didn't put fans on it... also did the long hood end and treadplate. The Cannon fans weren't available yet. I originally planned to finish it, but it kicked around and got a little bit of road rash here and there, so I ebayed it as-is a few years back. I thought when I saw yours, maybe that was it but mine had treadplate on it I'm pretty sure. I probably won't get around to building my own Southern GP38-2... I've kind of designated Southern as a B-fleet road, since so many nice RTR models have been done, and the Genesis GP38-2s are due later this year.... Andy
