I'm looking to change over to DCC and wanted some opinions on NCE system. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the NCE Powercab and SB5. Both are easy to use and reliable. The throttles have nice backlit displays that are easy to read. I started with the Powercab and later upgraded to the SB5 because I needed more power for sound equipped locomotives. Ditto to what CSXT said. I started the same with the PowerCab and progressed with the 5amp booster and another throttle. I've been very happy with NCE. It's very intuitive, simple to use, has a small, simple instruction manual, great customer support, and Made in the USA.

NCE is nice. I would also check out Lenz to compare before buying.

I started using NCE in 2002 and I am EXTREMELY happy with it.

I have used NCE for several years after finding Lenz was not to my liking. We have a large NCE user base here in my area, too. That helps if any issues develop. My only issue with NCE has been setting up my radio unit, but I think that is my issue not theirs.
One issue with Lenz was my inability to consistently program some of my sound units. NCE's programing on the main works well for me.

An important consideration is to think about what/who you may be using your DCC system with. IOW, are you going to also use it with local clubs etc. or exclusively at home. I mention it because it is convenient to have something that works in multiple environments. Clubs and modular layouts seem to use NCE & Digitrax almost equally.
That said, if you've already tried and like NCE, you should be happy with it. Maybe in a couple years when I can afford to spare a few hundred, I may pick up some NCE equipment to tryout (I'm using Digitrax right now, are many of the local modular groups in my area).
As an aside, I know NCE is popular in England as well; when I was over visiting in December - two places I visited - a private modeler and a local club - both used NCE and really liked it.
