I am in the process of installing a pair of Soundtraxx KT-1000 Tsunami boards in a pair of a buddies Kato SD80MACs. Installing the board was a cake walk but I'm unsure about what size speaker to use. Can anyone recommend a good speaker (I normally use QSI or Rail Master) that will fit under the hood and won't require any milling of the frame or removing any weight?

I've used Railmaster Hobbies DS1436-8 high bass speakers in all my Kato's and Athearns that don't have a built in sound enclosure. It's a great sounding speaker and I never had to do any work to get it to fit under the hood. Just so we're clear, this is in HO. railmasterhobbies.com/Speakers.htmBrad
