I need to take down my layout, saving most of what I have, but have a few things I'd like to sell, or at least try. Are items for sale allowed in here?
Also, what happened to HO Yard sale? I sold a few things on there a year or so ago, but can't seem to find it anymore.

HO yard sale just changed names to HO Interchange - HOI. I am on it and get daily digest emails from them. In fact I need to put some items back up there to sell too.

Not sure what the rules are.
I would at best give a short list of the type of stuff you have and an email address for those interested.
Otherwise there is also Feebay, which still works if you want to sell your stuff.

yes, I suppose you could PM the forum owner and ask since this is a fairly new forum and I don't recall if he has a position on items for sale. I should look to see if he has and rules etc posted where something like that is outlined.
Generally I have always put my stuff up for sale on the Rio Grande Yahoo Groups email list and most of my stuff has sold there although lately (past 12 months or so) it's been radio silence so I suppose the economy has chilled a lot of buying? After the yahoo groups I've used the HOI, and as a last resort i may go again to fleabay. Fortunately I haven't had to resort to it for a few years but ... well see.

VERY sorry to hear about you having to sell your stuff,Brian.Certainly been a lot of that going on lately,unfortunately.I just wanted you to know that your business was greatly appreciated ! Wish I`d had MANY more "HiFiBri"s as customers !!

Thanks everyone and thanks Kevin (KRail!). Keeping every bit of my Military stuff (well, 2 Christmases ago I was flat broke and gave my best buddy one of my M-47 Patton tanks to guard his slot car track, lol). I'm breaking stuff up into stuff I know I want to keep vs may at least try to sell (some lights, vehicles, buildings, track). Not sure about doing a show, may not cover the cost of the table. It all packs away pretty small, might as well keep it as it's silly to give it away just to sell it. At least that's my current thoughts.

I don't mind a "for sale" announcement every now and then. When you do make an inquiry, just PM your list of items to any interested respondents.
