Just been advised that two more CZ coaches are getting delivered from Atlas to the LHS in my case 'Petersen's ' Will say when they arrive. Only three more cars to come then the train will be complete. Will have to negotiate with N&W to borrow their J1 as a substitute loco whilst waiting for some WP F7A and B units being produced and for the bean counters at the bank to say Yea or Nay to their procurement..............Steve Brodie...........have changed my Christian name to maintain anonymity.

So to date, which CZ passenger cars has Atlas produced in O and which are left to do?
Western Pacific diesels have a nice passenger paint job on them. Of course I'm biased toward Rio Grande!

That is very interesting to borrow the N&W J to pull the Zephyr. Your modelers license must be up to date to use a coal burning loco for the FRC section if you intend to run that far out of Colorado!!!! Atlas used to have O scale F units at one time, right??? I like your style. Larry

James is up in the Shetland Islands now, far north of Scotland - so I guess there is a bit O modelers license for an old bloke! Definitely styles. I read that the N&W J is going to be back in Manassas VA this month I think unless I missed it, again!

Hi Jim and gents--you are a gent as well Jim--
I just have the dome/chair/with conductors window to come then the set is complete.
I understand some carriage deliveries were moved by PRR G Motors the route being used to avoid high tax charges.
Back in circulation again ( aw oh dear ! ) As Jim said we have moved up to the Shetland Isles and most models are in store while waiting for a railway room (30'x 40') being built--going to concentrate on an American running layout and just enjoy the model engineering part of building British models to display on shelving
My CZ has the PRR sleeping car in the consist which I will marshall just infront of the Obs. I have an FTa and b in the pipeline for working her but I do have a pair of F7As to supplement when not working the GGD El Capitan train.
Incidentaly now have the Dormer Coach to add to anything I'm running also from GGD.

Hello, Good Moaning gents,, My WP CZ Dome chair mitt conductors window is on definite order from Petersen so afore the years out should have the full train for my era. Will only have access to three of the cars as orl my loot is still in store pending the "granny flat and railway room being built. My N&W J1 is for heavy repair as the 'cirry irriot' had the chassis and body loose and set the chooch in motion and she dropped all the wibbly wobbly bits plus pulling the cable off the tender plug !!! One thing I don't do things by half. A very kind Atlas Forum Member has kindly offered to put all the bits in a box and shake them up and 'Hey Presto' there will be a box with even smaller bits in it.!! Just to keep the purists happy I have decided to use my Brass Samhongsa SPMW #217 0-6-0T loco as coach yard and station pilot. Modom said she was ugly---the#217 not Modom ! but I like her (I like Modom as well I better hasten to add or might not make our 60th anniversary next January). Apart from the CZ and El Capitan news I am building up a train of US Army coaching stock to go behind my S160. decided to have a set of sidings for military use-a sort of diorama. Couple of sidings real and the rest painted on the back scene. My wife is or has a good eye for keeping the perspective right where actual and sketching marry up to each other. To keep the authenticity right I shall put a flag up with "F troop" on it. if you can remember that TV show then you are older than me (I jest). I'm just an ard fella of eighty and still enjoy listening to the 'Goon Show' on radio Sydney via the computer and Boomer Radio. One serious question gents, the Williams model of the PRR Atlantic loco is it a scale model do you know there is one on e bay at around $300 which I quite fancy but need some guidance please. Happy Trails..................James Brodie.
