Passing of Ron Parisi

I'm not sure how many of you knew him or knew about his modelling work, but Ron was very much involved in modelling rail-marine operations, he introduced me to all the former rail-marine operations in the NY City area as well as the High Line. He was a regular at The Train Shop Ltd in NY City in the 1980's when I worked there. He passed on August 16th of pancreatic cancer-

That is sad news. I admired his work and had a brief email conversation with him in the past, he was very friendly and helpful to a complete stranger.
