As someone who has a bottle of Floquil NYC jade and who lives in a state where Scalecoat paints can't be shipped, what can I do to alter my paint to match PC green?

Ryan,
Since Jade Green is lighter than PC Green, I would add some BN Green to darken the Jade Green to match the PC Green. I did the same to make my Glacier Green, but I added quite a bit to make that color, I would say just a few drops in the paint you are ready to paint with.

Thanks, Rick. I still have some Floquil BN green left so I'll give that a whirl.

Ryan, By the way why can't Scalecoat not ship to Texas? Also the old Floquil PC Green is what Jim Six considers the best PC Green made, and here is the difference between Scalecoat PC Green and Floquil PC Green of which I still have 3 bottles which I got when it was discontinued and all the hobby shops discounted it to get it off their racks. It has something to do with paying for a permit to ship certain chemicals into the state. I'm afraid I don't know much more about it than that. Maybe the new owner will pay to play. Or maybe I'll just use the mix you recommended! After all, I only have one car to do.

RC, early NYC Jade was a different color than Late NYC Jade. think You want LATE NYC Jade which may be a Do It Self Mix. late NYC Jade could vary after the PC takeover depending on the shop or car builder. find some pics of cars painted NYC after 1967 with the small Cigar Band Herald,a lot of 40' PS-1s were being shopped due to age before and after the PC merger. PC is more of a can of Worms besides the Worm Herald. Spikre
