www.barmillsmodels.comIf you poke around and watch the video and then the new products screen there are new "Classic" kits Bar Mills is doing for under $50. These look great and I will be on the look out for them. We spend much time and money collecting freight cars and for not much more cash these kits offer hours of enjoyable construction time. Getsum

Nice work, Mark. I've been thinking about picking up a couple of those passenger shelters. They're very similar to a design the Rio Grande used in a few places and work well where you need a stop, but not a station. Getsum, Yeah, I too wonder why there's not the, err, passion about buildings, like that which seems to accumulate when some folks get to talking about buying RTR locos and cars? I'm rather thankful about that. Here's a pic of a tram tower and buckets I built recently from Anvil Mountain Models kits. The tower has a neat little feature when building that makes keeping it square easy. There are little webs of wood left on the laser cut frames that act as spacers, then you put the stripwood bracing on, then clip off the spacers. Works great. I bashed the tram house and loading bins from 3 Grandt Silverton Ore Bin kits.
