docscaboose.com/index.htmLooks interesting. An internet search does not show much else other than a Lionel store and the Hobby Lobby usuals.......

I know--I have over 2 million miles on American Airlines. Unfortunately, I rarely get a chance to visit out of town hobbyshops--unless I am in Denver.

I usually get an few hours on either end to train watch or hit a store via the rental car. Denver is great. Mizell's is closing now though.........

Whatever happened to J&L Trains and Hobbies? J&L is still around, no longer a storefront from what I understand. John and his son are still doing shows. Still one of the most attentive to customer service outfits I've ever done business with. Contact info on the website. pws.prserv.net/jltrain/index.htm

I know--I have over 2 million miles on American Airlines. Unfortunately, I rarely get a chance to visit out of town hobbyshops--unless I am in Denver. That's like, four round trips to the moon.... I'd have to do a little quick brain math but... I've had a drivers license for 38 years and I've owned 21 vehicles over that time span (4 currently) and the total miles I've driven in all that time is well under one million. Probably about 3/4 of a million, if that. Most miles I put on any single vehicle was my 96 Bronco - bought new in November of 95, traded it in May of 2011 with 146,395.8 miles. Second most is my 03 Ford ZX2, which I bought used in 2004 with 27K on it, and it has 135K on it now still going strong so I've put 108K on that one myself. The most driving I did was in 1994-95 when I racked up 42,000 miles on my 94 Explorer in 18 months. I did a lot of railfanning - it was normal to put several hundred miles on it any given Saturday just running all over the NS mains. Dunno what my air mileage is. Maybe 20 trips to California, about 8 to Florida and a whole boatload of weekly round trips to Buffalo back in 78, but those were only 1000 miles total each. I've cashed in a few free tickets on Delta over the years, but I made more on American Express points than from actually flying - I used the Amex extensively for business purchases at the time. Andy

Does anyone know of any good DVD's on rail fanning Kansas City?
Not Pentrex "going to Kansas City" which is really not about Kansas City itself.
Thanks
