Hello all! Just dropped a Digi SDH-166 decoder into a BLI Blueline SD9. Works pretty decent out of the box, except the headlights are reversed ! Can I reconfig to get them working in the correct direction? Thanks !

The blueline engines are configured so the decoder has to be installed reverse to what you would think. Unplug the decoder, and reverse it.

Not quite that simple ! The plug won't fit backwards, without a riser. With riser, it now hits the inside of the cab roof. Worst case...I'll just have to rewire the lights.

Issue finally resolved after talking to Digitrax.....reverse motor leads. Simple and inexpensive. Long term fix is also enroute with new decoder.

Ooops, posted the wrong CV's:
The unit will be running in one direction but the headlights are backwards.
There is a simple fix for this problem.
Set CV33=2 and CV34=1; this will remap the function outputs F0F and F0R.

Oh no...could it be that simple? Yup! Moving the J1 plug to the J7 location on the BLI mother board fixes everything ! When all else fails...read the directions (carefully!)

Still looking to figure out if there's a second horn option or other sound effects of interest. This board may wind up in my Atlas SD24 after the SD9 upgrade.
