I RECENTLY purchased Atlas' new 85' trash flat. When I opened the box there was a packet of miniscule pins or the like. The box had no instructions so I am wondering what these are for........And, can the trash containers be placed on the car without using these miniscule pins?
Thanks for any help!

The pins are there for when you run the car empty as the trash containers dont have holes in the botom for pins and the containers dont line up anyways. Atlas says to glue the containers to the car on the trash flats and I tried drilling my own holes in the containers and adding brass pins so they go on the flat with mixed results as they are just to big to fit properly next to each other so eventually they will get glued on.

Thanks. What you are saying is the little pins are for accuracy looks wise when running the car empty? Do the trash containers come with pre moulded pins? Also, is the difficulty in alignment of the containers on the flat a failure on Atlas' part?
Thanks again!

There are no pins on the containers and IDK what is off as its either the container size or the hole locations on the flat.
