The email wants users to reserve spots and travel to be with them in Milwaukee on April 1st? ?? to the 3rd. This sounds like an early April Fools joke??? Anyway, they are advertising this on their email and it might be real or it might not be. Either way, I am not going for sure. Larry |

As conferences go it doesnt look bad. The reservation button is there but that price plus the travel and expenses would be about $2500 for a trip to the Midwest from California??? There would be expenses for anyone out of town in addition to the fee. It sounds interesting for modelers that would like to visit the magazine and talk to the different persons involved with Model Railroader. It is not really like Saturday Night Live but it could be a fun weekend for sure. I will pass since living in Northern California is a long distance trip and we have snow on Donner now so my short trips up the pass to watch trains is a fun time for me. it sounds interesting but now I am wondering if anyone else got the email or was it by MR subscription only. I haven't been subscribed for four or five years, so they must just be going by if you're registered on Trains.com?
