This makes me happy to buy Rapido products, knowing that their CEO is willing to put his money where his mouth is, so to speak.

And speaking of foamable passenger cars. Cranberry just got the first of the new 1964 Broadway LTD. cars from Walthers. I grabbed a totally gorgeous Budd 21 roomette "Inn car" in tuscan with interior and lights, plus people in about half the rooms. The B&O E9s for the Capitol LTD. also showed up. Wallet will be in hurt mode...and the Turbines are still out there !

Slightly off topic, but still a related question. Why are rail fans called 'foamers'? Is it some reference to foaming at the mouth with excitement, or something else? Just wondering.....

Railroad industry professionals also refer to railfans as "frn's" (f'ing rail nuts).
So considering that "foamer" is at least a slightly better nickname.
