Howdy Yup I got the same email from Bowser today - having ordered 3 from my local hobby shop - I am looking fwd to operating them on the club layout - which reminds me I better put my pre-order for the Red Barn SD-40-2F while I am there It's actually nice to see items being delivered again - as for a while not that long ago it seemed every thing was in suspension as far as deliveries of new stuff - now it seems every week someone has all new products coming out - getting hard to keep up Nice avatar - thelastspike - I miss ole "Youppi" at Expos home games - yeah I heard he was picked by the "Habs" good for him -

I ordered ICE 6215. Why? Because I got a shot of the prototype on NS.

I'll probably pick up a dual flag this go around. I'm hopeful to see an Algoma Central version... maybe WC patches

Got mine today. Looks great. Very happy. Did you get sound? If yes, how is it? Since it's Loksound, I would imagine they sound exactly like the Intermountain SD40-2.

How's Hog Trainz? Never dealt with them. They don't seem to have the SD40-2s in stock yet, still listed as pre-order...

How's Hog Trainz? Never dealt with them. They don't seem to have the SD40-2s in stock yet, still listed as pre-order... I've used them for years with never a problem and that includes returning things. They receive things as quickly as anyone else and I would assume (given the blizzard; they are in NJ and Bowser in eastern PA) they will have their units as fast as anyone. Historically, they do not "lag" behind other retailers in receiving things. Sometimes Paul can forget to update the buttons from "reserve" to "buy it" when a big shipment comes in and order have to be sent out. Bill McBride

I noticed earlier this morning that he made those available as well when I refreshed the page. I'm a creature of habit and tend to order from MB Klein's, but with them still closed as they dig themselves out, I got impatient and decided to broaden my horizons by adding a new vendor to the mix. Pulled the trigger on an ONR Chevron & a BCR two-tone. Was thinking about getting one of the CPs and patch it into an CN-operated ex-CP Ontario Hydro unit, but that's just too much strain on the hobby budget, especially with the Springfield show this weekend. If there are still any around in a few weeks, maybe then...

hogtrains does not sell Walthers nor Athearn I notice. I think I have ordered some Walthers structures through them in the past (on the order anything page) but it's been a while and I may be mistaken. I think their first focus had been G scale and then they branched into HO (hence the "HO-G" part of the name). I think they refused to jump through the Horizon Hobby hoops when they took over Athearn. MB Klein or Lombard Hobby have been my go-to places for Athearn. Ha! Too much "I think" in this post. Now I'll be quiet... Bill McBride

Now if MBK's would show up! As of today MBK is shipping orders placed on the 21st, they only have 40% of their staff, and it sounds like they will be behind for awhile. Between the flu bug and piles of snow, they are struggling. Even if MBK have them, it might be awhile before they are unpacked and listed.
