LED Bachmann 44 tonner

Guys my version of bachmann 44 tonner Ho has a dim orangey LED for light.It is the DCC version but i did solder in to the board a TCS decoder M series replacing Bachmann decoder.Wondering can i change out that dim orange LED and put in a soft bright white? Anyone made the change.Thanks Steve..............i am thinking the resistor should be OK?

yes, it should be OK. I changed the LED to a warm white and it works without problem. I plan to change the stock Bachmann decoder to a TCS. The resistance is included on the board so it should work without problem.
