Hi,
Starting to plan some of the things I will need for my new layout. One of the things is a DCC circuit breaker so I can divide the layout into several blocks (probably about 4).
Any recommendations? I have a Digitrax DCC system and expect to stay with it. Is their PM42 a good choice? Or should I go with something else?

They tend to be faster and will usually trip before the booster itself. There are a few options. PSX by DCC Specialties is a great breaker and highly customizable, although a bit pricy. I 've found that the Tam Valley breaker (based on their dual frog juicer) is a great alternative. It's very fast, and can be set to either 2A or 4A trip current using a jumper. Not as flexible as the PSX, but still has plenty of capability for most of us, and it's more affordable than the PSX.
