I picked up a Con-Cor issue of the Kato Japanese DD13 diesel and I'd like to take the foobie American lettering off. Any ideas what will work without killing the shell? Maybe even without wrecking the paint (miro-sol or something along those lines?)
I suspect Con-Cor did all the paint work on these, most are black but the Pennsy ones I see on eBay look like they got more of a Brunswick Green. I can live with the black for now, I guess, but the NW lettering on mine looks funny.
I think these are circa-1980s, imported because they look a little like a GE 110-ton center cab.
