Steve,
Not sure why there'd be a problem. I wear bi-focals, but do have a 17" screen on my laptop and have my viewer setting at 125%, which probably makes it easier for me to see.
Can you make any of those kind of adjustments on your computer/screeen to see if it helps?
I don't have to scroll side to side for those settings to work for me.

I made the heading plain text, instead of graphic images. Hopefully that shold help everyone see them better.
