Hey all, I would like to replace all the plastic wheels on my Atlas cars with metal wheels. Most of my cars have 100 ton trucks under them. And advice on what wheels would work best? Thanks Ted

BLMAs are great, but they're sort of hard to find right now. Atlas does plan to re-run them, but that might take some time. Fox Valley wheels would be an adequate runner-up.

100T trucks will require 36" wheels. Walthers, InterMountain, Athearn, and Reboxx sell them, though need to measure the axle lengths or test to see if the wheelsets will roll freely. Most replacement wheelsets are nickel-silver or plated brass, not steel.

I agree BLMA wheels are the best, but have been very hard to find since the buyout. I hop Atlas does re-run them. Intermountain. And FVM make a good wheel too.
