Guys i spoke to the helpfull lady at Scenic express who informed me all the brands of static grass pretty much come out of the same European factory.Same material the only difference is different shades for Heki ,Noche ,Silflor etc. Anyway i would like to order 2mm and 4mm spring and summer greens and i am wondering if anyone has experience with different MFGs. She did say WS product is made from a different material. Looking at the product line up the selection is boggleing. The reason i am asking is that some greens look pretty highlighter bright!Wondering what colors you guys use and which product. Another question i have to fill in a couple of small areas with back drops! Has anyone used Scenic express product?. Thanks steve..............i have WS product but would like to enhance it!

I have used many of their products. I have been very happy with Silfor. The colors of the materials that are actually delivered are very close to what is shown in the catalog. I found it was cool to experiment with stuff that looked good in the catalog. Hope this helps.

I really like the Silflor flocking for the variety of colors and lengths, and can spend hours happily applying their tufts and clumps to complete a scene.
I was not as impressed with the 1/2 gallon jar of 2mm summer grass flock Scenic Express sells under its own brand, though. The jar I bought at NTS this year had some red mixed in there that was not only unnecessary, but looked toy-like to me.
Scenic Express' leaves and deadfall are pretty cool, but they're really sized for O scale or larger. The leaves can work for HO, though, if you just grind them down a bit.

Well i ordered selection of Silflor greens in different lengths! Shipping to Canada very reasonable. One thing i noted was amount in container as they do tell you how much you get. You really dont want a ton of it for average modeler and i would rather have a reasonavbe amount and have selection in terms of best value for my money.I have a couple spots where i could use their backdrops...............anyone use them???..................the mounyain scene with trees looks pretty nice and good value.Steve
