Clowns and animal abusers. I won't miss them.

I'm glad to see them go. Every year they tie down in the yard while they're in town, which becomes their home for that time. It's no place for people to loiter, let alone live. There is just too much going on. The sheet number of people living in what amounts to a modern hobo jungle migrant work camp can make for a nerve-wracking week. Working around people who are often without the faculties to care about their own safety is not my idea of fun. I'll dread August a little less this year without them here.

Leaving aside any personal feelings about circuses in today's world, I'm wondering what will happen to their passenger cars. I suspect many are quite worn out but there are probably a few that might be of interest to short lines or tourist operations. Did they have any business cars of interest?

The cars are probably in very good shape. Between host railroad and insurance requirements maintenance would be by the book. BUT, none of them are in any typical railroad passenger car configuration. They are rolling apartment houses. Many of them are in use as homes year around. The freight equipment may be more useful - at least the flats. But the house cars were modified and rebuilt for circus use. There are lots of YouTube videos of the trains (two complete units tour) passing the camera. Take a look at the equipment.

Hopefully some cars will be donated to the Circus World Museum in Wi. The Cars are good in freight service, but will not for Amtrak service, due to how RBBX runs their HEP trainlines. Most likely Auctioned off after returning to Florida and the performers have relocated to some form of housing.
