That is good news and I wish them well. I am curious if you were able to notice what their pricing model was in terms of MSRP or otherwise ?

Excellent news. That video is very encouraging for our hobby!!!!!!!!!!!! Standing in line is not for me, but I hope the deals were great to wait two hours to pay. Do you recommend mail order to this new store? Are the prices good??? Larry

As of Saturday they had not completed price marking their items yet (which is one reason the lines were so long).

The stuff I bought/looked at seemed pretty inline with online/typical pricing A customer who visited Caboose reported in another forum that all the merchandise in the store was priced at MRSP and nothing was discounted. The truth is out there. I won't be able to make any judgement calls until they bring up their website and list products for sale.

The truth is out there. I won't be able to make any judgement calls until they bring up their website and list products for sale. Everything I bought (a book, a kadee boxcar and a walthers boxcar) were the same price online as what they charged in the store. Things like Tangent cars were the exact price they cost else where, the only thing that seemed a little high were the locomotives, but it seemed in line with what the original caboose had priced stuff. I think the real issue was probably 50% of the stuff had yet to be priced, so they were defaulting to walthers online pricing.
