My 8-foot-long switching module is currently under construction (along with a double decker shelf layout for N and HO -- yes, I have an addiction problem). Current plan is just to do 2-rail O for the fun of it, but I have to admit that Proto:48 looks interesting too.

My third layout was begun in early 2012 and was dismantled in early 2015 because we sold unexpectedly and were moving. It was only 70% completed at the time it was dismantled. I started a fourth layout in February of 2016 and have finally gotten to the point where I am planting trees. I still need to do the yard and make structures for industries.
