It's been asked as to how to post images. For photobucket, go to the site and set up an account. Once your account is set up, and you're on the home page, you'll see a button that says download. Follow the instructions. Once your pictures are downloaded and in albums, scroll the mouse over the desired picture, and you'll see a list of prompts appear under said picture. Find the one that says "direct link" and click on it. The word "copied" should appear. Then come here to the section that you want to upload your picture to. Above the smiley faces you'll see a line of pictures, boxes, etc. Find the one that looks like a painting, and click on it. That will bring this up [/img] Place your cursor in between the center ] [ and hit control V. You'll see the coding for your picture appear. Before posting, hit "preview" to make sure that you were successful. Good luck, and let's see your artistry.

Doug,
Do you have to use Photo Bucket? Is there a way to post them and upload from your photo files on your computer directly into the message? I just don't feel like opening yet another photo account just to post photos here. I also use Web Shots for my photo hosting and the photo record of my layout construction. I use the VGA setting on my digital camera and they fit fine in other forums.

I'm sure there are other sites. I used rail images a few years ago, but when they rebuilt, I couldn't get into my account anymore, and went with photobucket. I would think that just about any photo hosting site should work. There might be others here that would be more knowledgeable in that venue than myself.

I have my own website and post photos from there. So far, no worries posting photos to any site from there.
Many, though not all, ISPs still provide some server space to users. For example, if I didn't already have my website, I would get a few MB attached to each of my e-mail addresses.
Free hosting sites are more of a challenge since they tend to come and go.

OK, I'm obviously missing something. I want to post a photo but all I've been able to do is get a link shown and not the actual photo itself. When I use [/img] All I get is nothing shown. Help. Thanks. Bob
