On March 15, 2018 I noticed a new "Live Chat Online" at www.atlasrr.com and used it to ask whatever had happened to the new locos of this type, to be based on improved ex-Weaver tooling, that had been listed in the Atlas All Scales Catalog issued in January 2017 as to be announced but still haven't been. I noted that Delaware & Hudson fans, among others, would like to know. SM, the young-looking "agent" who responded, said she'd "review" my question. Not much later she responded, "We will not be producing them at this time. We may at a future date but I do not have any updates on that." I guess there's still some reason to hope they may eventually be produced. (Students of languages may recognize that though "eventually" means "sooner or later" in English, the cognate words in French in German actually mean "maybe", "perhaps", or "possibly".)
