If you have both DC and DCC in HO scale..definitely get the V3 with battery backup so that you can measure DC voltages below 7 volts.

Tony’s rramp meter is indispensable on any layout with DCC. It’s the only diagnostic and indicating tool you have for the power you are using or have left to use.
