Matt and Mark, you guys never disappoint! I don't have anything new either, so here are a couple new shots of an older model. Thank you to Tom Austin for sharing with me how to perform the surgery to make this model. I think this was the last actual kitbash I did three years ago before I decided to start printing caboose parts and bodies.

You guys are always inspiring. My modeling has ground to a screeching halt and doesn't look to get back "on track" anytime soon. This summer I had to remove the ceiling above my railroad to redo the lighting, and while I've gotten the new lights up, I still haven't gotten the ceiling finished. At the same time, I'm re-building my workbench and storage with hopes of putting in a minor expansion for some staging. I keep checking in here every week to try and boost my motivation and get rolling again.

Very cool. Where I live these cars still show up with some frequency in the local yard before being spotted at the International Paper container board plant.

Neat! I printed sides for one of these, but I'm not crazy with how they came out.

Why am I getting-this error message, whenever I try to upload a jpg./pic???!!! I'm using the "Add Attachment" feature, in the upper R/H corner...
"Unable to upload file JPG. Error" "This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Your file cannot be uploaded."
The 8th icon above (from L-R) - that has an upper-case letter "F" underscored - has a red circle, w/a line through-it... When I place the cursor on that "F" and left-click, it reads: "Remove Formatting" !!! Read more: atlasrescueforum.proboards.com/post/116911/edit#ixzz5YbU3bd3G

Everything is shown in the photos and captions here: www.pbase.com/mecrharris/mp_13530The only thing I seem to have left out in the captions is cabooses rebuilt with the double hung window did not have the smaller gasket window on the opposite side. I cut in that small window twice before I realized Mopac cabooses had one or the other.

So I'm thinking of being OK with some foobie cars. My era is modern midwest, so I want to have some phosphoric acid cars that are used to react 10-34-0 fertilizer at destination. Nothing available is close to what I want, so I am doing some modifications, and am debating where to stop. Picked up some Walthers sulfur cars, which are close to the right dimensions. I have painted a white band on one, and figuring out if it is worth restenciling the cars and making mods to the top and bottom service equipment. Right now I think it captures the look that I am going for, might go further though. I think this will do for what I want, but would also love if someone came out with a 20.5K car that is used for UAN fertilizer. Suggestions welcomed, thanks

Hello, again very beautiful works. Greetings Sven
Sven: I really like this photo, I have revisited it several times today. All is good, the clunky old ALCo, the wagon top caboose, the weathering, the service area; it tells a story, somewhere in the 1950-60 era, nice. My only critical comment, and don't take this a a negative at all, would be to chop off the top of the photo, to remove the distracting clutter in the background, maybe have the top of the photo in the trees. Nice work! Jim

Apparently Jeff and Brian didn’t read the post one or two above, when asking if the cars will be at Cocoa, and when they will be available. Yes. January.
