I recently acquired a F7 locomotive from Bradford Exchange, before I try to remove the shell, anybody ever put a decoder in one? If so, what does it to install one?

Don't know, some say it is a Bachman, and others say a brand I've never heard of.

For anyone interested, here is what I found: You can see one of the two shell screws in this picture, the other one is in the opposite corner of the other truck. Here you can see the circuit board, with a plug for a 21 pin decoder. The head light is a LED, with the resistors already on the main board, and as you can see, there is a speaker enclosure there. I will be installing a Loksound select, with a 28mm speaker.

Think its made by Kader who makes Bachmann maybe.
