Semi-Annual Swap Meet and Open House for March 2019
The Will County Model Railroad Association will be sponsoring our Spring Swap Meet and Open House. This semi-annual event will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 9:00 am to approximately 2:00 pm. and our Open House will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Swap Meet will be at Stone City VFW Post, 124 Stone City Drive, Joliet, Il. (2M So of I80 on Rt53 - SW corner Laraway/ Rt53) directly behind the RT 66 Food and Fuel Gas Station. There is plenty of parking on the East and West sides of the building. The entrance is on the North side of the building.
Cost for the Swap meet is $4.00 per person and children under 12 are free. Vendor tables will be available. Reservation forms for Vendor Tables are available for download on our website, www.wcmrra.org or by emailing swap@wcmrra.org. Food and beverages will be available at the VFW,
The Free Open House is at our 3000+ square foot Clubhouse, located in the basement of 9 W. Cass St., Joliet IL (North side of Cass St. between Chicago St. and Ottawa St.). Parking is available in local garages and there is also street parking, which is metered until noon. Trains will be running and Club members will be available to answer questions about the layout, the DCC system and Membership.
