Hi all,
We've got the following products with order deadlines on Monday June 24th:
- HO scale FA-2 and FPA-2 - link - HO scale FB-2 and FPB-2 - link - HO scale LRC coaches - link - HO scale New Haven stainless steel dining car - link
Please contact your dealer or order direct. If you are seeing this after Monday, have no fear. The numbers won't go to the factory until July 2nd so you can still get your order in.
We're also doing a huge Canadian product launch on the 24th. We start a Facebook Live broadcast at 2 p.m. EDT. It will be the biggest single N scale product announcement in Canadian model railroad history. That's not hyperbole. I'm being totally serious. We also have a new HO announcement, so the launch is still relevant for the forum!
All the info will be in the Facebook Live event and in our newsletter. You can sign up here: link
Thanks and regards,
Jason

Alright, you twisted my arm for a few more LRC's. Gotta have some color to mix in with my Blue ones. Really wish you would have re-ran the Amtrak LRC's. My Amtrack LRC is coachless.

They are setting the bar again in N scale...those passenger trains are as detailed as many HO scale trains I have seen.
If/when they do an HO scale B23-7/B30-7A series...I'm game for 6 of the B23-7's and at least 3 B30-7A's. Saving cash up for them.

I missed it. What was it?
Only thing in HO was Canadian versions of the RDC 1/2/3.
The very big thing was all N scale (Canadian, FP9, F40PH-2, LRC coaches) so many N scale people have an expensive couple of years.

Yes great news for the N-scale crowd! They're getting some variations on the Budd CP Canadian cars that were not offered in HO scale, such as the "reversed" skyline, HEP rebuilds and Prestige Class rebuilds. The announcement is unclear but I assume the HEP and Prestige cars will have different tooling for the correct underbody detail (not that it really matters to me as HO modeller). I also like that Rapido is offering an add-on pack of Budd cars. I wish the HO versions had been offered that way initially instead of post-release as single cars only available through the VIA online store at inflated prices and difficult ordering outside Canada. Although the Park and Skyline cars did have a wider re-release, I could really use another CP Budd diner and baggage-dorm to model complete versions of No 1 and No.2.

...not offered in HO scale, such as the "reversed" skyline... Not that it is relevant to the point you made, but the post-1982 Skyline with cafe tables was in fact available separately at one point. I sold the 1978-82 version from my set on ebay and replaced it with one of the add-ons. Part # 116001.

I did not realize the version offered exclusively through the VIA online site was different from the version in the set (and the later retooled mid-train dome released individually).

Same, I'm waiting for them to finish the re-run on all the cars so I can complete my Canadian.
