A question from a HOn30 modeler who uses Nscale atlas code 55 track. Sorry if its been asked but I sherched and found nothing. Is there any timeline as to when we might see any more cd55 turnouts? I need two #5 lefthanded and cant find any to save my life!! Im guessing its the china problem :(and not that its been discontinued??? thanks Ted

Hmmmm 65 people have read this post and not one person knows the status of Atlas cd 55 track? Someone must of heard something?

Over on "another network" Paul Graf of Atlas reported that track is slowly making its way here. The restock will be in stages, with the HO Scale Code 100 being first, then HO Code 83, then N Scale Code 80. Paul did not mention C55 specificially but did say he expected everything to have a restock by May 2013.
BTW I gave up on C55 and I'm planning to get rid of most of it eventually. I might have two #5 LH turnouts. Let me check the files; I'll PM you if I have them.

Thanks George. I would love to use code 55 exclusively as it is so beautiful but I have so much code 80 left from previous layout excursions and given my present financial situation and being that code 80 doesn't look THAT bad if you aren't into photographing it all the time, that's what's on my current 4X8. Oh, except for the Treble-O-Lectric stuff on that small layout (which is also code 80 but with big, widely spaced ties [sleepers]). Doug
