I don't subscribe to very many model train related emails, but a couple that I do receive have Black Friday sales.
Scale Scenics - 20% off most stuff. Today only. $100.00 minimum order. Keycode: FRIDAY - all caps

ExactRail does have stuff I can use. Awe heck, most of them do. I took advantage of the MB Klein 5% discount. The ExactRail discounts are tempting.

PS: Hobby Lobby has a 40% off one regular priced item coupon. I tried to apply it to an Itawa airbrush, but the total amount didn’t show the discount at check out, so I didn’t complete the order. Maybe I'll contact them on cyber Monday to find out why the discount won’t work. If it does, that will be one heck of a deal!

It doesn't look like Moloco is doing any discount for Back Friday et al.
ExactRail deals are pretty good. Mbk, so so. Interestingly, mbk is showing Athearn Genesis stuff not due for ten months, like the auto racks. Wierd.

I grabbed a BN girder bridge and a wheels of time lumber load.
Even though I don’t have a layout, I’m still mulling around with what to do for a module for photos. Maybe the bridge would be beneficial to figure out what I want to do there.

Not Black Friday but my deal of the day today at the Chantilly Greenberg show was a recent release Tangent Conrail box car for $20! Been wanting to add one of those since there were announced a couple months ago but I couldn't believe it was less than half price - road #362151. www.tangentscalemodels.com/product/cr-1978-x58-repaint-x58-boxcar/There can be some killer HO deals at that show even though the show is packed with Lionel and toy stuff. |
