The good news is the partial order that showed up first sold very quickly. The rest should be here in a couple of weeks and with the coronavirus extending the new year shutdown who knows when or if Scaletrains will ever show up. Or if they'll be able to sell any by the time they do, given some of the forecasts of potential doom from this thing.

...who knows when or if Scaletrains will ever show up. Or if they'll be able to sell any by the time they do... lvrr325: once again, you're publicly posting misleading information. You have absolutely no inside knowledge about our company or factory. Last evening, our factory let us know our first shipment after CNY (HO DASH-9 2nd run) will be ready to depart the factory during the week of March 17th. The production samples are scheduled to arrive next week. As for the Multi-Max, the latest update has arrival at our warehouse moving from mid-June to late July. We kindly ask you to stop making speculative posts about our organization. Your inaccurate ramblings have the potential to have a negative impact on our business. If you would like to discuss this further, the door is still open to send your contact information and best time to call to Sales@ScaleTrains.com. We welcome having an adult conversation instead of having an immature keyboard war. Sincerely, Shane Shane Wilson President ScaleTrains.com, Inc.

Kind of off topic, but since we're discussing brick and mortar hobby shops, I think M.B. Klein (Modeltrainstuff) put Athearn in a bit of a quandary a couple months ago when they closed their retail shop. They are probably one of Athearn's biggest dealers / distributors, and I seriously doubt that Athearn is going to drop them now that they no longer have a traditional store front. I assume that's still Athearn's policy...

Just stating it how it is, without devolving into a separate subject the news on this thing varies from no big deal to full on stay in your house for six weeks Armageddon type stuff. I've seen where some have announced factories reopening, but then another place turns around and cancels school for the next couple months, the stories quite often conflict with one another. So it's anyone's guess what will come - but so far looking at at least a month of delays across the board. That other guy was announced for a June arrival IIRC. I wouldn't look for them before September at this point.
My gauge is to watch Atlas' web page for another product to show as shipped out. If they're getting product then most everyone else should start getting it.

The Atlas Multi-Max models are excellent and I look forward to ordering more.
I have enough layout projects to keep me busy so getting upset over a 2 or 3 month delay for delivery of toys is way down on my list of concerns considering lives of my fellow human beings are at stake.
I can wait.

From what I read, you can still pick up orders from MB Kleins building. Don't now how that factors in. But with more and more B&M shops either closing or sales migrating to online, I don't see how Horizon can indefinitely maintain a B&M present as a requirement.

That other guy was announced for a June arrival IIRC. I wouldn't look for them before September at this point. lvrr325: a few minutes ago, I tried to send you a private message and received the following message, "Your message failed because all recipients have blocked you." Since you refuse to send your contact information to us so we can talk by phone, will not visit with us in person at shows (i.e. Springfield,), share who you are online, block us from instant messages, etc., you leave us no choice but to post publicly. This should be a private conversation but you are unwilling to be a professional business owner. "Good Morning, I've respectfully asked you to stop speculating about our company. In your latest post, you said "That other guy was announced for a June arrival IIRC. I wouldn't look for them before September at this point." If you continue to post inaccurate, misleading, and/or derogatory comments that could potentially have a negative impact on our business, you will leave us no choice but to contact our attorney and send a cease & desist letter. As a side note, we've informed Donnell Wells who runs the Atlas Rescue Forum about your postings. We do not want to escalate this situation. Please, just leave us out of your posts. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Shane Shane Wilson President ScaleTrains.com, Inc."

While these cars are to new for me I am a Scaletrains customer of -9s, -2s & hope to be receiving T2s on Tuesday. I believe that Scalestrains products speak louder then lvrr325. He does have a right to sound like someone that is not that smart & hide. If he was a respectful person he would only speak facts & when ?ed by someone from the company that he is taking aim at, He would respond & sign his name to his post. Scaletrains has acted in a very respectful way toward this person. I believe Scaletrains is a respected & respectful company & if anything I would do more business with them because of the way they have responded to this person. I do anyway because they have great products! People have the right to be entertainment of others, Like me & I like to laugh at them.

PS there are other words I wanted to use but was not trying to be disrespectful to lvrr325
