Hey guys, I'm having trouble getting the 4 digit long address programmed into a soundtraxx TSU-GN1000 decoder. It says to use CV 17 and 18 as well as have CV29 changed to 1, but nether 17 or 18 will stay changed it always goes back to the previous value. any help would be appreciated.

Silly question, but what address are you trying to program in? I ran into issues because anything below 128 is considered a "two digit" address.

Also from the manual: Once the extended address is stored in CVs 17 and 18, bit 5 of CV 29 must be set to 1 so the decoder will recognize the extended address format. CV 29 does not get set to 1, it gets set to 38 normally, but depends on what features you want turned on. soundtraxx.com/content/Reference/Manuals/Tsunami/usersguide_diesel.pdfSee page 15 for the lookup table.
