The 2022 NMRA Convention which was scheduled for Birmingham, UK has been cancelled due to conflicts with the Commonwealth games, which were moved because of Durbin, South Africa dropping out of hosting the games.

NB Durban was stripped of the right to the host the games back in March 2017, and the games awarded to Birmingham back in December 2017.

What has changed is other events (Olympics, Athletics world championships) being postponed potentially affecting the Commonwealth Games, which in turn meant that venue availability couldn't be guaranteed for us model train people.
