All,
Is there a way to have a sound decoder play the grade crossing signal with one function key? If so what is the CV and value?

Ah, I get ya. I think. You want, with one button push, to play the --o- signal.
I had a very quick look around:
For a QSI decoder, it's F15.
It MIGHT be F11 on MTH--give it a try.
F9 MIGHT do it for an Economi. Maybe even a Tsunami.
You might look through the instructions for your decoder to find the info. If it's there.

Indeed, I do mean LokSound. For Loksound, that sound selection would have to be in the sound file for your particular locomotive. It appears most don't have it. Some do. You'll have to look up your particular file. I know the Soo 2-8-2 has it, at F22. Ed |
