But, is he still making masters for PNWR and just not selling the shells himself now?
Slowfreight - he's still pirating other people's work, no matter how he chops and rearranges. He's stealing other people's intellectual property. It's still wrong, no matter how you justify it.

I’d like to jump in here before this goes any further. I am Scott Lupia, the owner of KV Models LLC. I am 100% focused on my etched parts line. The resin shells were something I thought I would look into and I have learned that it is something I do not wish to be a part of. I do not and will not sell any resin shells on KVModels.com and I am no longer making shell masters. I have been experimenting in house with resin for some small parts which come from 100% styrene masters I build myself but that is as far as any of that will go. The resin shell business is not my thing. Hopefully this will put some concerns to rest and give a definitive answer to where things stand.

Cool! Your etched parts really look fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing your small resin parts. Freight car details? Thanks for the clarification, Scott.

Thanks for stepping out here and making your intentions clear. You are an asset to the hobby and should be recognized as such. I am a past and future customer!

Any chance you've got U23/U30 radiator etchings and cores in the pipeline to follow the U33/36/C-30 ones?

Thank you everyone, I appreciate the chance to clear things up.
I am currently working on U23/U30/U28 parts. These parts fell victim to my wandering focus and have been lingering since I introduced the U33c detail sets. I have U28 parts being manufactured right now and am following up with the U23 and U30 parts. I am trying to clean up the drawing board so to speak. I have a few sets I started like these and the Proto GP18/20 sets that never made it out of testing. Unfortunately, after letting them sit for a year plus it is like starting over when going back to them because I don't remember where I left off.
The little resin parts I am experimenting with right now are the interlocking junction and relay boxes for lever operated armstrong interlockings. Nobody makes them and I need them for my layout so apparently I will be making them. I am sure I am going to be the only one who needs them but that's where that is right now.
2020 was a rough year with all the Covid related manufacturing issues so I am hoping that 2021 will be the year where I get things back up to snuff.

Scott Lupia KV Models LLC Excellent, I've got a Guilford U23B project that would be appreciate some nicely etched grills. Hopefully 2021 goes a bit smoother for everyone.
