TCS will be releasing a new wifi throttle this summer called the UWT-50. There is special pricing if you pre-order by March 29 FYI if interested. Basically you can get it for $150 vs. the regular $200 price if you pay now and it will be delivered end of July. There is another option as well. It can be ordered with an encoder knob or a potentiometer knob - I chose the latter because I like the "old school" style throttle. tcsdcc.com/mini-throttleAfter having read the features, this looks pretty nice and consisting is supposed to be simplified over others such as the Digitrax system I currently have. I plan on using my Digitrax system (for the time being) as the base system and using the TCS throttle via a wifi adaptor. TCS had a combo deal btw, which I took advantage of where you can order the UTW-100 together with the UTW-50 for $399.95. So depending on how you slice it, basically you are getting each at their pre-order price via the combo deal, although the UWT-100 is no longer offer "pre-order" because it's been out been out for a couple years. I don't know if the combo offer is still available, but a phone call to TCS would find out. One of the cool features of the UTW-50 is it has a switcher mode. It can be configured so the throttle knob when straight up at 12 o'clock can be rotated right-of-center for forward and left-of-center for reverse, which would come in handy for the back and forth motions during switching moves.
