Hey guys, is anyone here going to watch the WGH show this Saturday? I got a newsletter a few hours ago about it, and have yet to see a thread about it here, so why not post: They plan on hosting a myriad of manufacturers, along with numerous other booths/events/clinics: Atlas Model Railroad Co Bachmann Trains Broadway Limited Cabin Fever Auctions Caboose Industries Caboose Stop Hobbies Daylight Sales Dwarvin Enterprises Great Northern Railway Historical Society Hunterline Interaction Hobbies InterMountain Railway Co ITLA Scale Models Jelsma Graphics Kalmbach Media Kato USA Muirwood Reclamations National Capital Trains Neal's N-Gauging Trains NorthlandZ (pretty interesting that they'd get a booth at the show, wouldn't you think?) PIKO-America LLCScaleTrains.com (maybe someday we can get another run of those Conrail SD40-2s or dare i say a C30-7...)Star HobbyTrainShow.comWiFi Model RailroadWm K Walthers IncWorld's Greatest HobbyI'm pretty excited for the show, but don't really know what to expect apart from a repeat of product announcements from the recognizable manufacturers. Wonder if there'll be a surprise announcement. Regardless, I hope it all goes well, and that it's as interesting as they say it might be.

Not planning on it. I prefer in-person train shows. I did go to the in-person WGHS in Chantilly VA Feb 2020 and enjoyed it. I talked to Chris Palmerez at that show and he has since left Athearn and I am not sure where he ended up. Reportedly going to Caboose hobby shop to be their manager but ...
I'll be slaving over the house to minimize the HOA violations I suspect are coming!

Hey guys, is anyone here going to watch the WGH show this Saturday? Not me. On the plus side, you don't have to pay for gas or food or lodging or......... I think I'll play with trains, instead. Ed

Not watching it as well. If there is any news it will be broadcast on all the forums by Saturday afternoon. So no need for me to watch.

I'll try to check out the Atlas announcement as soon after noon on Saturday as I'm able to do so. Once you register for the event, which is free, you should get a schedule of the timing of events. That reached my email today, which is how I know that the "keynote" announcements from several manufacturers should be accessible from 12 noon EDT on.

Binghamton, NY is getting a live, in person train show so I will be there. It's one of the very few who have not just thrown in the towel so I want to support them.

lvrr325, when and where is the Binghamton show? I'm curious and would like to advise others closer to that site than I am about it. I'm sure my family wouldn't tolerate my going there yet, and only partly because it's a long drive from where we live.

I'm sure my family wouldn't tolerate my going there yet, and only partly because it's a long drive from where we live. I sent you a private message with the details for that and the one other show we get which is in a couple of weeks. I loaded up for it today and I think my new to me older G-van has more room than my previous newer Express van. There's a batch of stuff I'm not bringing but I could easily have fit it all in.
