the other day I was on there trying to look for something and the whole thing was COMPLETELY broken, you could not look up a single product on the whole site. Nothing was showing up. At least they got that fixed....

Yesterday there was a notice that short passwords needed to be reset.
Today is this notice under the top banner: Having trouble logging in? You may need to reset your password by clicking here.
Today I started up my computer and Logitech had updated my keyboard drivers and software. Yep, keyboard didn't respond. Only by luck clicking around did I find a Windows troubleshooter for USB that fixed it. Now that it "works," all my customizations that I'd been building for years were no longer functional. AND, the new software doesn't allow for some of what I'd been doing.
My point is that changing things "for the better" can really screw with you. Especially if it is a surprise and you have absolutely no choice. You can knuckle under, bitch about it, and use time you had for something else - like building a Taco Bell model - and then dive into dark, cold water. Knowing all along that there be monsters there.
I like sites that let you work with a beta for a week or so before have to make the plunge. I like software that tells you what will change and what you will lose. And then let you choose to not change anything.
Walthers, Logitech, and Taco Bell are on my sh*t list right now. I'm going to spend tonight and tomorrow with a book. One made out of paper because my Kindle decided to update a couple nights ago when I was in the middle of a page.
