For the sake of continuity here is a blank contribution!
The scant bit of modeling this week was trying out the several bottles of paint I have in the silver range for a future container project. A photo would not be glorious!

Finally finished car 4/5 of my C&O/B&O box project. Originally this was to be the last car, but meanwhile a friend gave me a partially finished Branchline DD car that is destined to be a third B&O DD car. It'll be fairly unique though, 8 ladders, cushioned underframe and mismatched doors.

Not much progress at my workbench this week, but I finally built up some new bays for one of my PS 4427 kitbashes. The fit isn't perfect, but I think it will be OK by the time I get some primer and paint on there. At least I have some measurements to do some more now and hopefully I can get the fit a bit better. I have another P2K model yet to kitbash and the ExactRail 4427 I've already kitbashed. I also modified some gravity-pneumatic outlets leftover from some Atlas 4650 hoppers to use for the outlet gates. They're not a perfect match by any means but they'll do. MP 2950? Superb!!!

No, it's one of the PS 3148 conversions. I haven't figured out a good way to do one of the 2950s without 3D printing.

That reminds me of some MARC engines down at Washington DC Union Station when I was working there 10 years ago.

Fantastic work there...they really changed a lot after the first HEP rebuild. Myself, I might have set the calipers to measure each one after I counted out the first louver. BTW, shouldn't the ribs get removed from the blower duct on the left side?

BTW, shouldn't the ribs get removed from the blower duct on the left side? I tried with calipers myself. Prototype louvers were what looked like 8 openings. Even without my glasses i would start to cross-eye counting. So i did my best. They are dullcoated on so i don't have to worry about them coming off.
