Steve, Best start for finding this kind of thing out is Wikipedia. The M103 had a short but interesting history. I don't think the National Guard got any. I would guess you saw either M48's or M60's. I'm sure someone here has more info. Ed Unfortunately, my Osprey book on the M103 is packed away as we are in the middle of a move. But, Ed is correct. Only the US Army (not the Reserves or National Guard) and the US Marine Corps used the M103. The Roco model is really only correct up to the point when the USMC decided to re-engine them. I guess it would be possible to kitbash a USMC M103A2 using the Roco model and a M60 for the upper and rear hull.

The Osprey book is a fun read--mine's readily to hand. The A2 is certainly a thought. I suspect I'll keep mine as A1's, just to get the project done. I want to do 6 loaded flats. And run them in 1960. For some reason, my other favorite tank is also a 103: Ed
