Iād like to see a re-run of NW Block/Fishwick and GT blue in the next run. Some pre-Quality conrail would be nice too.

Demand for these is lower? Ok if you think so. Maybe they actually made more this time. The last run has stayed in stock pretty long but the runs are likely larger. There you may be on to something. How many 86' boxcars can people fit? Possibly a factor affecting demand maybe? These are fantastic but I'm not sure how many more I can justify and like some I have a sizable fleet of rolling stock.

well, according to the roster published in Mainline Modeler 2004-01, there are still some huge parts of the fleet outstanding - for me, especially early (<1970) orders for DTI, N&W and possibly another NYC...

Other than several quad doors I'm still in for N&W hamburger scheme Chessie and C&O would also take another NYC or two plus Milwaukee road. I really like these large boxcars with the bold schemes. The quad doors I'll be in for 2 SPs and a couple chessie and whatever roads they do as there are only a few and we need a Tangent level quad door.

There will undoubtedly be paint schemes that I wasn't aware of or hadn't seen yet to come...So I'm saving a few slots for them.

I may need a few of these after all, after seeing some new videos of LV trains I noted one in a NE-87 (D&H interchange train) but from the dark side the roadname wasn't visible.

I have one reverse curve with only about 7"between the curves; and yes I have the same problem. What's crazy is that I have other 86' equipment with body mount couplers, but the Tangent cars are the only ones that won't make it. I have found one solution for what it's worth. I have discovered if you run a Walthers 86' box between them, they no longer derail. I am looking forward to a dozen of the Tangent 86' Arkansas Valley cars to be released through Homeshopes. I'll just have to get my hands on some more Walthers cars in the meantime.

I got code 83 Peco track laid through the S-curve in question. Two Tangent Greenville 86' boxcars couple would go through it no problem. This is a 36" radius curve with easement going into a Peco #8 turnout which diverges into a 33" radius curve. The cardboard is temporarily hot glued as guard rails until I get busy with scenery.

Lookin' good Jim.
I did tear up and relay my track to eliminate the short tangent between reverse curves. Now I have just a very slight kink, but it works for these cars.
Once my B&O car arrives, I will have a 10-car train of these boxcars (pulled by mostly Atlas and Bowser Alco Centuries).
I really do love the Wabash blue 86' boxcar.

I really really want to have a couple of the N&W Greenville blue with Hamburger logo regular two door cars, but I might buy one quad door, also.
I just saw a nice clear photo of the blue Hamburger logo car in a Conrail book...
