I used to order Athearn product from DCC Trains, but since they no longer have a store front Athearn has cut them off.
So who do you go through to get your Athearn products from?

I have been using Spring Creek Model Trains for a number of years.

I'll second Spring Creek -that's where I order my stuff. Dave and Deb (and the rest of the team!) are the best.

I use Overland Hobbies. Never had them mess up a pre-order yet.

I've ordered several engines from Brian at Overland.
I also use MB Kleins, Lombards and Spring Creek. During a trip out to Salt Lake City in August I visited Spring Creek. They are the mother of all train shops and have the most inventory I have ever seen, and there is more I didn't see in the basement and they are purchasing another building next door. And Spring Creek is waaaaay out in the middle of nowhere in the cornfields.

I don’t think anyone can beat Lombard Hobbies prices. They were about $25 cheaper than everywhere else on this latest run of Athearn Genesis GP38-2s.

Anybody with a Horizon account can order Athearn trains. A guy I sell a lot of stuff to found a shop who mostly does R/C car stuff not far from where he lives and has bought a few things through them.
When I was out in Ohio last one of the shops we visited was the same deal, huge R/C inventory and trains on the side and had a lot of Athearn products out.
